A Cd Problem On 05 Lt

I JUST START TO RIDE MY NEW 05 LT END I HAVE THIS PROBLEM UFTER I LESTEN TO THE CD 30 MINOTS HE STOP END JUMP OTOMATIK TO RADIO ALOWEN THEN I NEED TO SHUT OFF END RSTART AGAIN THE SISTEM ENY BUDY NOW ABAUT IT SOMTHING?

Yep had the same issue, only it happened at different occasions, different conditions. While playing a cd in the changer the audio suddenly changes to the fixed cd in the radio unit. Cd changer keeps playing, can't go back to changer using the buttons (radio doesn't know the changer) unless I shut down the radio completely and turn it on again. They've swapped the cd changer 3 times, cleaned all connectors between radio and cd changer just as many times. Finally, after 2˝ weeks of testing at the importer, BMW decided to swap the radio and the main radio harness. Problem is now solved, about a month and a half before I run out of warranty.

If the radio looses the connection to the CD changer then it will do what you described. That could be from a bad wiring harness or loose connection, or from a fault inside the main radio.

Make your dealer replace whatever they need to get it working right.
