Windshield problem

Hi guys,

I would like to get some advice with my windshield problem.

Today I have removed some caps because the windshield (especially when it gets colder) began to falter. The relays do well in my opinion, the switch also.

I believe the problem is in the electric motor of the windshield. When I tap with a screwdriver the mechanism begins to run a little bit. I made a video of it. Is there a possibility to overhaul the electric engine?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Windshield problem

Have you spray lubed all the pivot points? This is usually the number 1 cause of erratic windshield movement.

Re: Windshield problem

Look more like a bad contact broken cable or worn brushes in the motor.
Check cables to the motor ground also.
Maybe you can check power to the motor when it is moving up or down just to see if power is allways there.
If yes must be something wrong with the Motor.
