Aux plug

OK, I managed to hard wire my GPS without blowing up my battery or my Garmin, maybe I should ask again about installing an aux plug...can someone point me to the old threads/HOW stuff on doing that? Try as I may to make the 2730's fm transponder work, I can't get it to happen, so it's time to go the real route, meaning I need point and shoot directions and a helpin' hand on what to buy to install a real aux plug.

Dig a bit back in the IPOD/MP3 section and there are several threads there(look for aux input). You will also need an isolation transformer or all you will hear is a squeal. I built my own from a standard double row header connector (0.1" centers). But there are commercial cables out there.
