Windsheild options?

Hi Folks,
It's time to replace the shield on my '06. I tried to find a ZTehnic (sp?), but it doesn't seem that they offer them any longer. What aftermarket shields are available for 1200LTs?

Caveat: I'm not a fan of Aeroflow.

TIA

GB

Re: Windsheild options?

You can try a 7Jurock shield out and let me know how works I would like some feed back on it
I do have a Cee Bailey on it now but I keep thinking maybe thier is a nother one out threre with a little more wind protection The guys on the RT Threads really like the Werks Shield for the wind protection and it is made by 7Jurocks

Re: Windsheild options?

I guess I was concerned that National Cycle's web site never link "Zetechnic" and "Slipstream". I was of the feeling that they are not the same. In the Ztechnic's application chart there is no mention of the K1200LT. I may call them to try to confirm that.

Thanks,

GB

Slipsteam is not from Ztechnic....
Ztechnic make the V-stream - polycarbonate the same as BMW OEM windshields.

Slipstream (check this thread) seem to be available on Amazon... and are probably Acrylic construction.

good luck!

Re: Windsheild options?

This is the piece I was missing..."Ztechnic make the V-stream".

When I bought my last Ztechnic, several years ago, I don't recall seeing V-Stream mentioned. I also don't recall them being part of National Cycle. I do realize that businesses get bought and sold and form affiliations, I just want to be certain that the V-Stream is Ztechnic.

Thanks,

GB
