Try this link:
http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/attachme...achmentid=1265

It lists the 3 sizes that are used for the Tupperware

Yeah that is the image I was talking about.

Is that from an official BMW manual?

I can't find it anywhere in my literature.

thanks

This from the online manual that was available through the Max BMW Website. It's probably still up. I'll see if I can find the link for ya.

I'm sure that there are other sources...

Re: original source for the fairing screw length image?

What do you need that for ?

Meaning - it really does not matter what screw goes where as long as it meets the threads... Only exception are those two screws by glove compartment (newer models with central locking).

Re: original source for the fairing screw length image?

I did find it helpful as a one week old new owner.

The question was more about finding out where it originated because I thought the source might have more information.

I thought was a well thought out shortcut/information source and hoped to find more like it for other parts of the bike.

Being new to the LT I have a lot of questions....

Fuel Sending Unit dent?
resetting low fuel light?
No Radio flashing?
Bike rock solid but lots of vibrations in footpegs?
broken upper windshield arms?
removing topcase?

found most all my answers here but just like to have multiple resources.
