Shipping bike to Brazil

Is there any one here on this forum ever used a shipping company to send your bike to Brazil?
Can you recommend any one?

Thank you

Check out the http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ website. There should be quite a bit of experience on overseas shipping there.

Also quite a bit of info on traveling in just about every country.

You might talk to Davis Bales of BrazilMoto.

http://www.brazilmoto.com/

I'm sure he has direct experience with this.

I am planning a trip to Brazil in Mid March 07 with Davis Bales... I am using one of their RTs or GSs for a 8-10 day ride...

Does this fit in you time frame?

Visa Needed for Brazil

Stuart,
I had a nice non-riding business trip to Rio last year. Just in case you didn't know, Brazil has a visa requirement for US travelers. Cost a couple of hundred dollars and takes a couple of weeks to obtain. You won't be allowed to board a plane to Brazil unless you have the visa.
