Oil leak on left fork

Went for a ride today and when I got home I found a dirty oil film on the left fork leg. It started a little higher than the steering damper and went down the leg to the brake caliper and was also on the lower center and left spoiler. It wasn't alot of oil. I'm thinking the steering damper.

I had a similar experience in June that has gone away. Wipe off your upper strut area with paper towels, then tie wrap a towel around each tube housing and see if the towels get oil stains. Could be a lazy fork seal that got some dirt under it. You might be able to live with it as is, until your closer to the warrantee running out.
