CCR Final Call

In one thread, it was suggested that folks new to the LT forum don't really know what CCR is. The Curve Cowboy Reunion and its early email systems were the foundation of this entire Luxury Touring forum. What is CCR? Here is the write up I sent to to the MOA and RA for publication:

CCR 2015 is Coeur d'Alene, Idaho! At the first CCR gathering in 2000, an onlooker called the participants a “Bunch of Curve Cowboys”! The name stuck. These were solo and 2-up touring riders from all over the country who had met on the internet and agreed to have a hotel based meet-up. Touring, rider education, and charity work have continued to be the group’s focus and if these interest you, then you are already a Curve Cowboy regardless of the bike you ride. Although we think of the event more as a reunion than a rally, 30% of our participants each year are new to the group. This year’s venue is the Coeur d'Alene Resort, a full service facility.

Interested? Although our merchandise system has already closed down to allow the supplier time to make up the order, the resort is holding our block of rooms open until July 30.
If you are interested and want to see a schedule overview, I just posted a notice on the CCR Forum. Want to look even further: Go to www.curvecowboyreunion.com for registration and venue details.
