ABS ON LT .?

We're their any changes in the Abs that would make any difference?

YES, major changes beginning in 2001 for Europe and rest of the world (except USA): this is when BWM implemented the more complex Integral-ABS (also called IABS) having servos electrical boosters in the ABS unit. IABS is mostly present in 2002-2009 in the USA market, however some late 2001 may have it. Easy to spot as IABS models have front brake calipers marked BMW (instead of Brembo).

Earlier K1200LT in the USA (1999-2001) have the previous ABS generation called ABS2: these are easier to bleed and relatively cheap to repair (approx 350 for overhaul). For the moment nobody in the USA can overhaul the later IABS units if any major internal component is defective.
