Angled valve stems

Next time i put new rubber on. I want to install new metal 90 valve stems. The straight ones are a pain to get some air chucks on. Is this recommended? And. Whats the part# for the replacement O2 sensor?

Re: Angled valve stems

I believe the angled or 90 degree valve stems are okay if not too long. There has been some issues with fitment due to the structure of the wheels.

Bosch O2 sensor.

Re: Angled valve stems

FWIW I used angled ones (not 90 but 45) and ended up going back to short straight ones. Just found it easier all around.

Re: Angled valve stems

Ya just get a 90 degree adapter!

Here's one. Ya don't leave it on when riding, can cause leaks!

I have one for my RT. The problem is when you install it or remove it after servicing the tire it leaks out too much air and you lose the pressure and your back where you started from. Leaving it on is no good because it's big and it may get lose or get hit with debris while riding.

I don't have that problem. I unscrew it until just before the air is leaking out and then move my fingers around the retainer to unscrew the last bit quickly in one turn.

Re: Angled valve stems

The 45 would be fine. So no problems with these wheels?

Found these from Kuveygirl to work fine on the lt. Just stay away from the aluminum ones that have isues with clearance on the rims center molding.
