Sena SR10 and Sm-10 combined

Anyone ever combine both the SENA SR10 and the SM10 so both riders can hear the same Stereo Music from the SR10 and use a CB through the SR10?

My wife cannot hear my XM or the CB using the SR10 and I just found out the SR10 doesn't have the capability for both riders to hear the same FM music. Either one of the other. But found out the SM-10 has that. Anyone use both of these SENA Units jointly?

Re: Sena SR10 and Sm-10 combined

I did have both our SMH10 connected to the SM10 so we could both hear GPS voice directions and radar detector alerts, however when we were in that mode the intercom was disabled and either of us had to tap the jog dial. The reverse is also true, so if you are in intercom mode you will not hear the radar detector or GPS until you tap the jog dial; the problem was not hearing the detector... So it is an either/or situation, confirmed by Sena.
I had both the Garmin and Escort hard wired to the SM10, going through filters that effectively removed all whining noise.
The SM10 does not have "priorities" but can be paired to 2 headsets.
The SR10 does have "priorities" (meaning it will interrupt the intercom to let you hear either the GPS or the detector) but can only be paired to 1 headset.
I do miss the rich features of the Baehr system, but wanted to cut the cords...

Re: Sena SR10 and Sm-10 combined

Thanks, Zippy. I ordered the SM10. I don't usually hook up the GPS as I don't want to listen to "bitchin Betty". Do you hook each unit together or just blue tooth to the helmets?

Re: Sena SR10 and Sm-10 combined

I have not connected the SR10 to the SM10 yet if this is what you are asking.
Because I cannot really see the Garmin I need the voice, but that is just me.
I only really need Garmin directions on long trips, and usually my wife is with me so we use the communication system a lot. Not sure I will need the SM10 anymore since it needs to be ON and disable the alerts, plus we don't really do music when we ride; we prefer to talk to each other. The SR10 will interrupt the conversation if the detector chirps or the mean Garmin lady talks and then resumes the intercom. The drawback is that my wife won't hear those since the SR10 only pairs to 1 device. Come on Sena, please fix this!
