Trunk Box electrical connections

I recently did the cannisterectamy, had no issues.
Just installed the fix it before it breaks latch kit, but, could not get one of the electrical connections loose. It would rotate about 1/8" then stop. I wiggled it, pushed it, pulled it, tried to rotate harder, no good. Got the kit installed without disconnecting it. Any ideas what is going on?

Re: Trunk Box electrical connections

If you are talking about one of the barrel connectors, they can become jammed. They will release if you force them past the jam. Also they can use a good tug as you rotate them.

Re: Trunk Box electrical connections

Thanks John,

Yep I am talkingabout the barrel connector. I was afraid to force it because it is working and I did not want to break it.
