Angry Front swingarm boot retaining clip?

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have any experience or tips on how to install the circlip that holds the front "gator", (boot), on the swingarm?

I've been fighting it for hours.

Thanks,

GB

Re: Front swingarm boot retaining clip?

You push the rubber gator into the swing arm and then install the clip in side. Just don't push to hard or it will go past the rubber. Don't forget to lightly grease the front lip where it slides on the transmission as you install the swing arm.
