ABS reset

Guys- A couple of weeks ago while on a trip my ABS lights began flashing. When I got home I checked the usual suspects and found the rear sensor gap out of spec, the front sensor dirty, and the rear fluid low. I checked the battery and relay, both in good condition.

Now I'd like trying to reset the ABS system but haven't found a method other than take the bike to the dealer. Another site had a "ground this wire" instruction for an earlier model LT. Is there a similar method for resetting the ABS system on my '00 bike?

The abs in a 94 and later K1100 LT is the same as what's in your 00 LT. There are instructions for R1150GS absII reset on the adventure rider site also. I have never tried to reset using them, but that is also the same unit as what you have.
