Re: Seat fitment

I think the 99 - 04 are different than the 05 & up but not 100% sure.

Part number for early LT are different than the later.

I called them and they said the frame is different and then that is why the fitment is different. I read somewhere that somebody modified a early seat to fit a newer one.

Re: Seat fitment

No problem. You just have to drill / "dremel" some plastic off under the seat. No biggie and takes about 10 minutes and not visible when the seat is down.

Re: Seat fitment

here you go This is mine I had a later seat on it but went back to original it was more comfortable also now use a russell
I believe my replacement seat was an 04 comfort seat, mines an 02 I just realised you want to go the other way

take note of the angle brakets they need to be cut off then drill new hole
in plastic . there is no going back from this so be sure this is what you want to do!

Re: Seat fitment

If going from a 2005 up to a 2004 down, you have to remove plastic. But I have run a 2003 seat on my 05 with no modifications.

I don't quiet understand this. I have a 05 and I am wanting to put a 02 seat on it. Will it fit or will I have to modify a bunch? Will there be a big gap from the Tupperware to the seat? Thanks for all the tips..

Re: Seat fitment

02 seat will fit an 05 but 05 seat does not fit an 02 without the body work being trimed

Re: Seat fitment

hi the 02 seat has e recess in the pan to allow the seat to lower over the panels
the later model seats do not have the recess .there will not be a big gap

Thank you very much for the explanation. Sometimes it is hard to spell out what I am concerned about.
