Fork seals.

At the end of last year on a trip my front fork seals started to leak I did a quick fix by wrapping the top with a shop rag and zip ties.

Today I replaced the seals, copper bushing and dust boot. It all went so easily I thought I must have forgotten something.

My only problem was the last fender bolt, the spring nut had been pushed up so the hole was not lining up, once I figured that out it was a piece of cake.

The old rubber was hard and there was some crap at the bottom of the tubes.

I hope the spiegler job goes as easy.

Re: Fok seals.

It won't, but with lots of patience and care it's not bad.

Re: Fok seals.

I watched Kirks video of the fork seal change and was surprised how easy it looked. I guess you confirmed that. Good luck with the Spieglers and let us know how that goes. I had dealer install them during 24K service and they make such a difference in the braking it will be worth it.
