Question Broken exhaust

I seem to have cracked my exhuast at the weld by the left foot peg on my 02 LT. Tempted to remove and weld but realized its probably stainless and can't weld with conventional mig. Any suggestions from experience?? I should have researched for this issue before posting but will do it now.
Thanks for any help

Several of us have had this problem. Easily welded by any welding shop that has TIG welding capability. Actually, stainless steel can also be MIG welded, with the correct wire, or stick welded if the person really knows what they are doing. TIG is by far the best to use though. I welded my own, had not done TIG welding in 30 years, still came out with a better than stock job.

Have TIG welder at the shop. Bring it by and I'll weld it for you.

When I sawed mine open to take out the catalytic converter I had it welded back closed for some trivial amount of money.
