Quick Disconnects supplier in the UK.

Hi,

I have been hunting around for the quick disconnects and I can find the plastic ones from :-
Motorworks BMW Motorcycle Specialists - Shop - Spares and Accessories
and
Motorworks BMW Motorcycle Specialists - Shop - Spares and Accessories
But I cannot find any metal ones.
Any suggestions ?

Thanks

Tony

Re: Quick Disconnects supplier in the UK.

I went with Jiffy-Tite connectors and am pretty happy. It is more expensive than just replacing the male side of the factory type is cheaper and others I am sure can give you a reference number for that.

1973 Yamaha 250 Enduro (crash and burn)
1982 Yamaha Virago 920 (sold)
Honda CB750 Custom (sold...good riddins!)
2003 K1200LT - Black (for sale)
2005 K1200LT - Ocean Blue Metallic

If I could find a supplier (and part number) for the jiffy-tite connectors this side of the pond then I would.
All Google hits come up with are USA based companies.

That link IS the female end. It is most critical to have the male end in metal. Female end can remain plastic and be perfectly safe.

Here are both parts. Not sure what the fuel line bore size is on the KLT,but I guess it could be made to fit!

Re: Quick Disconnects supplier in the UK.

Hi Guys,

That is great, thanks for the help.

Being a cheapskate, I have ordered a plastic female and a metal male.

Regards

Tony
