Bike locked up - won't move

So, I haven't used my 2001 K1200LT in a few months.
Yesterday, I went to take it out for a spin, and found that the drive train was locked up.
Bike is in Neutral and I can't seem to shift up or down.
Tried rocking the bike forward and back with clutch in and out.
Tired hitting the starter, but no noise whatsoever.
Rear wheel moves a bit, so it doesn't seem to be a frozen rotor.
Bike was on a battery tender the whole time, and appears to have plenty of juice.

Anyone have any thoughts before I go start whacking on things with a rubber mallet?

Thanks!
JR

Re: Bike locked up - won't move

Just figured it out!

A few weeks ago a nephew had been sitting on it making vroom vroom noises.
(supervised, of course)

He apparently kicked the reverse lever halfway.
I switched it back, and everything is fine!

I only feel a little stupid , but mostly relieved that something major didn't lock up and require some major work.
Luckily, as I was looking thru this site, I saw a thread about the reverse gear which got me thinking.

Thanks again everyone!

Bought used K1200LT number 3. This one is green/teal with 31,369(now 7/29/2018 54,143) miles and is an '02. The first 2 bikes made it to near 150,000 miles.

Due to heart health, the Dr says not to ride under 40 degree air temp. Ugh! Now it is harder to get my 18000 miles a year in just in the summer. Guess that stopped my 20 degree rides now.
