Remove Pillion

I just got a sheepskin pad from Alaska Sheepskin for my wife, and want to keep it from flying off her seat when I ride solo. It comes with the adjustable band that can wrap around the seat.

Can anyone tell me how I remove the pillion seat so I can wrap the skin?

Left up the drivers seat.
Remove the 2 bolts at the frame rails at the front of the rear seat.
Disconnect the heated seat plug under the milddle left (looking front to rear) of the rear seat.
Slide seat forward and lift it off.
