Opportunity to move from a 2003 to a 2005

Have a 2003 LT now with close to 60K on it. Have an opportunity to get a 2005 with less than 20K on it. Is it worth making the move to a 2005? Are there things I should be looking for on the 05 bikes?

1973 Yamaha 250 Enduro (crash and burn)
1982 Yamaha Virago 920 (sold)
Honda CB750 Custom (sold...good riddins!)
2003 K1200LT - Black (for sale)
2005 K1200LT - Ocean Blue Metallic

That's exactly what I did and I give it a up.

The powered center stand and central locking features were the most useful upgrades. But I liked the old gauge cluster, it was easier for me to tell how much gas was actually in the tank. Supposedly there is more HP but I didn't really notice that. Stock lights were maybe a little better but again not that much of a difference.

Re: Opportunity to move from a 2003 to a 2005

I've got some upgrades ready to go into my '03 and wondering if they would be able to be put on the '05 instead. Talking about Spiegler brake lines, HyperPro springs (not shocks...just the springs), and HID low beam. Think the '05 still uses the H7 bulb so the HID kit should work, but I don't know about the springs or brake lines.

Glad to hear you are please with your '05 purchase Gruivis

Down payment made! Nice metallic blue. Shifts like butter. The higher gearing from my 03 caught me of guard but I quickly adjusted.
