Alarm 101

There are several articles on programming and bypassing the alarm on the LT in our technical files area and the HOW. So I thought I would share this.

Yes the alarm has an internal battery, but you cannot change it. The entire unit is fully encapsulated in resin so I guess they really never intended it to be worked on. Thanks to Ron Gilbert for providing me a failed unit to play with (it was blowing the horn/alarm/brake light fuse). He replaced it with a new unit and all is well. In the mean time I had fun tearing it apart.
