Trunk mounted brake light?

My brother got rear-ended at a stop sign on his GW last weekend (no injury, but bike is pretty messed up) and that bike has a total of five brake lights! I'm thinking that I could use an extra brake light on my '05 LT.

I don't think I want to go with the lighted trunk rack. I'm wondering if anyone has mounted a stand alone brake light strip on their trunk.

I was thinking of one of these:
Universal Red LED Running/Brake Light
SOMA LED tail/brake light

Have you used something like this? Pics?

I got this from my BMW dealer. It is only 5-inches wide, but at least it is a extra light. Since this is mounted on the curve of the trunk, I had to take a piece of rubber and form it in order for the light to fit.

I have installed a set of hyper-lights on the underneath of the top case overhang just above the rear light. They were very easy to install and wire, a 10 minute job. They have connectors for the LT so you don't even have to splice wires. I have had several comments on how visible they are. Unfortunatly, no amount of lighting will keep you completely safe from those that should not be on the road to begin with. Try this link----- http://www.hyperlites.com/

Thanks guys.
I like the looks of those Hyper-Lights.
I think I may go with those.

Garage
Go to "www.RivcoProducts.com" ...they have the SOMA leds that are a flexible stripe....or do a Google search for the SOMA led lights...."www.CycleGadgets.com" also has some lighted licence plate frames, one with a programable led message.

Top Rack LED

When I purchased my bike from Raffy, he had added a Kisan tailBlazer to the taillight and the top rack LED. You can see it in operation here. It has saved my bacon more than once. If it has stopped bllinking and is on solid and it looks like the car coming up from behind doesn't see me, I release the brakes and apply again. It hasn't failed to save me yet. YMMV
