Blue wire ???

The wire harness that goes to the top terminal on the alternator has a blue wire with a black connector. I'm thinking it connects to the flat post just below the top post? I don't want to continue putting the bike back together until I'm sure where it goes. Thanks

Re: Blue wire ???

Slightly different angle... it's on the alternator, or what seems to be described in the service manual as the "three-phase generator".. someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
AFAIK there's only the one tab up there to attach it to, just under the back edge of the gas tank.
I only know this because I put it back on previous weekend!
