Smile Hjelp width the chain

Hello,
I've have som noise from the engine and I want to chek that the chain timing is adjust right and that the tensioner work fine. Is it a way to have a sevice on the tensioner?

no there isn't, it is not adjustable. but if the guides are worn or oil pressure is low may be the cause of you noise , what does it sound like? when does it happen? you will need to provide a lot more details,

There have been a few cases where the oil pressure piston was stuck and not applying enough force on the chain tensioner. Only way to check is to remove the timing cover.

Could it possibly be alternator rattle at idle speeds?
