I found a rebuilt on E-bay. looks exactly like mine but it is advertised as a "Non-ABS Final Drive" - never heard of the FD as being an ABS or non-ABS item.
I have ABS, should I steer clear or go for it?

Well, the seller is a little confused... They are probably referring to the presence or absence of the hole and mounting location for the speedometer sensor that is present on 2002 and earlier final drives.
All K1200LT models and years have ABS. The difference in the final drives is that post 2002 the speedometer input was derived from the ABS sensor on the rear wheel rather than a separate sensor mounted on the final drive.
