If you don't have the tools, ( a general you, not meaning you personally ) I assume you have not much, if any, mechanical expertise or experience.
A couple hundred $ and some forum advice isn't going to make you proficient in a clutch change. And they run $2K- $4K at a stealership.
For someone like me, who has some mechanical knowledge and experience, but no specialty BMW tools... and lacking in nerve, I'd have to look long and hard at that warranty. YMMV.
