Tire Questions

I Can't fine any wear bar on my Bridgestone Battlax BT020R Bias-Belted rear tire. Does this tire have a wear bar? Tire has 9th miles on it. It also has some bumps on the tire about 1 inch, on both sides off center is this cupping?
Is the new Metzler ME888 out yet and has any one tried one yet and will it out last the Bridgestone?

Re: Tire Questions

I am getting better mileage out the BT 020 (9,800) than I ever got out of the 11 ME 880s I ran (6-9,000). There are wear bars look along the side wall for a triangle, it points to were a wear bar is located. They are close to the centerline but not on it.

Re: Tire Questions

cupping, yup.
Look at the depth of the grooves in the center where most of the tire ware occurs.
