Windscreen removal

I know there has been some discussion on windscreen removal somewhere on this site. I can't seem to find anything on it at the moment. Can anyone out there give me pointers or refer me to the appropriate subject matter on this site.

Snap off the two covers from the inside edge..
Remove 4 screws and the windshield is off..

Good Luck

If I may add, John, the covers snap off with quite a bit of tension. Standing on one side of the bike facing to the center-line, use your finger tips, all four at the same time, and wiggle them under the inside edge. Pulling up slowly, but firmly it'll snap off.

and don't be alarmed at the loud "SNAP" sound it makes when you detach the chromed covers, and when you reattach them.
