Clutch pipe leak?

Hi, has anyone heard of a clutch pipe fracturing at the slave cylinder end causing a loss of pressure?
Right now I am replacing the slave cylinder, but was wondering why the was so much fluid around the area of the slave cylinder
Any help guys is much appreciated...

A picture could help. The line to the slave cylinder can loosen and leak also.

Re: Clutch pipe leak?

Is the leak external, or leaking from inside the slave ?

could be a leak on banjo washers, My thoughts if brake lines should be replaced at 10yrs. clutch line should be replaced also. Same fluid same rubber..

Re: Clutch pipe leak?

The fluid is all over the area of the housing? going to fit the slave cylinder when it arrives and give it a good bleed before refitting the swingarm etc? let's hope it's not a pipe as well
