replacing windshield

My windshield measures 24" is this a stock size that it came out with? I have a K1200LT 2005. I am thinking about replacing it with something do to scratches from the past owner.

Re: replacing windshield

Replace it with Cee Baileys. Had a couple on couple different bikes.
Im 6 ft tall and use -4 from stock for height. IMHO.

Just replaced mine with cee bailey. 24 euro cut with a reverse curve much better then stock call them very helpful I'm 6,1 look over the shield when down unless it's raining. They will tell u it's not meant to look through distortion I don't see it. I made a good choice for me

Re: replacing windshield

Just ordered Cee Bailey hiper series whisper flow. Still waiiting for it. Ordered 6-24. I'm 6.1 and have been happy with oem shield buts its seen it's better days. I don't mind looking through a shield and my wife likes all the protection she can get. So I'm hoping it works out . Will post after install. Would think I'll be getting it soon.

Re: replacing windshield

I'm 6'3", and went with the Cee Bailey +2, and a +2 with Wings (wings shield for winter). Both are excellent. I could look over the shield, and still protect the pillion from wind enough.

Not many guys went with the +2 obviously, but I "ride a little high"...
