ABS sensors

I am getting flashing abs lights. I have checked the fluid levels the battery and the sensors. Am I missing anything?

Have you checked your pads for thickness, both front and rear?

On a 2000 model, I would say that it is either a low (bad) battery, or a bad abs unit (big bucks!). The only way to clear the abs light is to have the dealer do it.

I replaced the battery and the pads look good. I am very afraid it is the abs unit. Damn.

ABS Lites

I also have a 2000LT. I dropped in the spring on its left side. The lABS lites have been flashing ever since. Had it checked out by the dealer. He tells me I need t replace my Hydro Unit. Big bucks. Over $2,000.00 to repair.

Wink ABS lights

As for your dealer saying the pump was bad, had the same thing happen to my 2k over a year ago. You still have manual control of the brakes, just no ABS, so ride on. I tried to get one dealer to unscrew the bulbs, he refused. Guess one day I'll have to do it myself. But right now, I'm too busy enjoying it. :-)
