More LT's on the roads these days???

Lately I have noticed alot more LT's on the road. Just in my leetle county, I know of or have seen 12-15 LT's with what looks like "locals riding". Has this bike become the new "gotta have" bike or just the next step in the bike owner evolution after HD's and Japs have worn their welcome?

Where are you (other than "north central OH")? I've been riding to work (Dublin) more often than not the past few weeks. I take I-270 from the SE side of Columbus to Dublin (NW side).

I agree...

I have always seen other BMW bikes, but recently I have noticed more, what looks like "local" LT owners.....

Last year I never saw any LT owners other than at the Dells......

I'm up in Mansfield/Lexington near Mid-Ohio SCC.

I've seen LT's over the past few years riding "through my neck of the woods", but relatively few that I would say are local owner riders. Funny enough, there were once 3 Basalt Grey LT's in my neighborhood. One has since been sold. Now I see LT's in all colors and model years criss crossing the area. Must be a sign that LT's are catching on.

a guy working in my building saw my LT parked out front everyday. Left a note with questions about it. After telling him how great it was, he bought an '06 and parks it right next to mine. Since then, we've added a GS and a RT to the parking lot. I think their getting more popular. People are getting tired of paying through the nose for an inferior "it" bike (HD).
