Passenger Backrest

Hello to all - New member here !

Am picking up my next "new/used" bike next week and am already looking to "farklize".

It is a 2007 K1200GT and I wish to acquire a passenger back rest, rather than a complete box.

Would any of you have a backrest willing to sell that would fit?

Thank you in advance and please feel free to post me privately if you wish.

Kind regards to all from Madison, Indiana

Re: Passenger Backrest

Welcome.

What you're looking for is a Bakup Backrest, the K1200GT-K1300GT Passenger version, which can be found on this page.

They're not cheap, but they are excellent quality and very comfortable.

So good, in fact, it's really difficult to find one used . . .

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

Re: Passenger Backrest

Hello All
I am still in the market for a used passenger back rest if anyone has one to sell
I know they are available from BackUp, just looking to recycle one if sitting collecting dust
Safe riding to all

Re: Passenger Backrest

Need a passenger back rest?

Check out the Strongrak at www.strongbilt.com. . The Strongrak is a luggage rack, passenger back rest, and passenger arm rests. It is adaptable to the R1200rt, K1200GT, K1600GT, K1600GTL. The arm rests fold up and down. This unit can be attached to the bike in less that 5 minutes.

Re: Passenger Backrest

Thank you to all that responded

I was able to find a well kept Back-Up and saved considerable

I am a firm believer in re-cycling when it is appropriate
