Question Mounting brackets for iphone 4S on K1200GT

I have a 2008 K1200 GT. I want to mount my iphone 4S to the center of the handlebars. This seems to be more out of the way in reading the other instruments. The only thing I've found is the Ztechnik K-GT Accessory Mount. Now it seems that I need to buy the mounting bracket ($99) and the iphone 4S clip for the mounting bracket ($25).

Any other options? Any reasons why this is worth the $125 to mount my phone?

Google up the RAM mount pages and you'll prolly find a good solution. Not necessarily the cheapest, butt IMHO, one of the easiest and trouble free solutions for mounting my 4S.

I have this mount made by Touratech and am very pleased with it. Does a very good job of damping vibrations.

Don't know about an iphone but I sure can't see my phone screen in direct sunlight. Even the GPS is only fairly visible on its brightest setting.

07 RT, 01 R1100RL, and a few other bikes...

Ram mount works for just about everything. Ball adapter uses the handlebar bolts and works on either side. I use one for my phone and one for my GPS. A lot less money too.
