Re: 06 k12gt
What exactly do you want?
Names of seats and seat makers or the mostly not very useful opinion of others? Seat preference is so individual the chance your favorite would match some one else's is no better than 1 in 3.....
The K1200GT is a pita to service compared to an R bike. And it has several pitfalls for the untrained and unwary which can be expensive mistakes. Know what you're doing if you attempt it.
Also, be certain you have the cam chain jump guard installed AND if you cam chain makes any noise at all on startup, the revised cam chain tensioner to prevent a very expensive motor repair..
Some long ditance riders prefer Russell seats. I use Sargets. Other good makers are the rest of the CA custom guys, Kontour, etc and you can often get some stuff done for less at your local upholstery/seating shop...
FWIW, bike aerodynamics blow except for Bonneville type streamliners and stuff that looks like them. Nothing you're likely to do a a modern FI bike is going to do nything significant to alter its mileage. Its gets what it gets- which for most is a wee bit over 40 at highway speeds..
