And I really like that BMW continues to introduce new models, as they go after younger riders. More choices are good for all of us.

Re: K GT Lite

Base price is said to be $ 13,190.00; looking forward to reading some real riding reports/reviews and going for a demo ride in the spring

Re: K GT Lite

Would be a great old, old, old guy bike when weight becomes an issue, but no cruise control!

windshield looks too short and therefore useless, reminding me of those on crotch rockets and some sport tourers.

Re: K GT Lite

My buddy just bought one. It's actually a very cool bike.
You're right, the original screen was too small.
I just helped him fit a system from Madstat and it works well. It's adjustable up/down/forward/back.
He's taking it on a 20 day trip in another week. Light load, hotels or friend's homes every night. He sold his RT to buy this bike. He says it's incredibly nimble and a lot lighter than his 2000 RT was, with about the same horsepower. His gripes: no glove box, no place for highway pegs.

Re: K GT Lite

your cool bike looks very tiny the font is too small so the bike is not visible clearly .make it large so that it can be seen easily

Re: K GT Lite

Half the HP, half the torque, half the final drive, and half the price.

Interesting

Huh?
What's up with the abstruse postings lately? Or is it just me?
