Smile Oil Filter Tool

Has anybody found an oil filter tool that is thin enough to fit over the oil filter in a K1300 GT without loosening the shifting lever and bracket? Thanks.

It looks like the Marc Parnes tool will not work Denny. Perhaps we need to make something?

Smile Re: Oil Filter Tool

Thanks all - Ernie: That would be huge. Let me know when that might be convenient for you. I have the correct size wrench, but it's just a bit too deep to slide in and over the filter. I'll give you a call.

Denny

Re: Oil Filter Tool

Denny, Buy your filters at South Sound. They give you the the proper filter. Oregun dealers sell you the longer filter. I know,I bought two down your way.Try part number 11 42 7 673 541
