Audio sorted ....

I must admit you can shove your iphones I love my Nokia N8. 12MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, FM audio transmitter, sat nav, HDMI connecter as well as the normal smart phone stuff etc etc. Added a 2nd BT channel with an audio sender in the 3.5 mm headphone socket. Oh and will connect to my GS911 if anything untowards needs looking into !

Primary BT connects to BMW navigator III to provide phone book services etc, 2nd BT connects to BMW helmet to provide FM radio or MP3 playing. ... while trying it all out in "Car Mode" I received a text and the phone just read it out for me, just what you need while riding

BMW Navigator III connects to BMW helmet for the sat nav and phone. All works a treat.

Off in search for a battery extender to add to the Hein Gericke case rather than faff about with power cables. The whole lot is attached to a RAM mount which means when I stop I can just pop it all in the top case, or take it into hotels for charging.

The whole lot can be accessed while riding if needs be.

Just ordered a 3.5mm right angled adapter which will allow the phone to sit upright in the case, not essential but I like things to look right

Re: Audio sorted ....

Is that some kind of soft-shell case your phone is sitting in, along with some kind of sun visor affixed to it?

Is this shown in the "mounted" position/location when you're riding?

I kinda like the storage case, but I'm not so sure about that spot for it, as far as if it'd work for me.

Hi Jeff

Yes it is, it's this one

http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/street...ps-tasche.html

I've fitted it with a ram ball on the the rear so it clamps to my ram system. It's a very useful position as the mp3 controls can be changed while on the move
