Question Missing side bags

I am the proud new owner of a silver K1200GT. It has only 12k mileage and everything checked out fine on my shakedown cruise. Unfortunately, the bike was minus the side bags which were sold by the previous owner. Any suggestion as to where I should start looking for replacements? I would prefer BMW originals but am open to suggestions -- even will consider soft bags though I like the look and secure attachments of the stock bags. Appreciate your advice and experience.

Re: Missing side bags

I'd haunt eBay, as they occasionally show up there. Otherwise, look at the Classifieds sections of the various sport-touring bike forums.

Also note the exact same bags are used on the R12RT, so sometimes they get listed that way.

Good luck.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
