Question PowerFRK Picture

I am installing the PowerFRK on my GT, however there are no instructions for the GT!!

Does anyone have a picture of how they installed it on their GT?

Smile Re: PowerFRK Picture

Found a picture, but after I got it apart there was only one place that it could be plugged in. Installed and working great

It tricks the ECU inputs so that the bike runs smoother at low RPMs and eliminates the 3000 RPM flat spot, at least on the Slant-4 K bikes. PowerFRK makes lots of other claims - more power, optimized fueling at all RPMs, etc. According to their website, there is a version for the K1200LT.

Soon after I bought my K1200GT in 2007, they were the only available solution for the low-RPM surging and the sudden power-loss flat spot around 3000 RPM. These days, there are several products which do similar things. Each has their proponents.
