ABS modulator/pump change

Has anyone changed out an ABS pump on a 2006 K1200GT, the later type pump.
Is it easy to do, if its changed out, will the light reset, or is it a dealer only task to reset.
How easy is it to flush/bleed the system.
Also-are the k1200gt & k1300gt modulators compatible, have checked MAX OEM fiche, & part numbers are the same-34517715109, but saw a k1300gt pump & number was 34517715107, so am rather confused.
Any info wellcome.

Regards
Stevie
