It's finally back ....

After a long time at the dealers my K1200GT is now back

It's had new rear ESA assembly, new left hand switch assembly, new clutch assembly and new main stand.

The main stand is a K1300GT one, so I can confirm it fits the K1200GT, and is a MASSIVE improvement over the dire K1200GT design.

The clutch is a bit worrying as it appears to be juddery/snatchy but the tech advises that that will vanish once it beds in.

I've injured my lower back so frustratingly can't take it out for a spin ... grrrrr

Re: It's finally back ....

Rots of ruck on the clutch chudder. With over 32,000 miles, mine has never gone away, and all the dealer does is make excuses.

Ride fast. Take chances.

Update, I have about 500 mile on her now and the clutch is starting to be far far less judderry.

My dealership advises that my K is to be part of the new brakeline recall ... sigh it's had that many new parts it would've been cheaper for BMW to have replaced it
