GT + Unigo?

I have a friend who dumped his LT for a newer GT. Anyone know of a Mfg or private hitch design to allow pulling a Unigo with a GT? I've seen a picture of an K1200S pulling a Unigo, but there were no details on the hitch. Any help appreciated.

Re: GT + Unigo?

Yep, tried Unigo. The ones they have are for the 03/04 GT's, nothing for the new 05 & later GT's and they claim can't be done! But I believe the truth is they probably would sell very few and sales can't justify the development cost. I suspect it be a one-of custome build.

Re: GT + Unigo?

Yes, it can be done.

Just search this GT forum for "hitch" and you'll get several very informative threads.

You can also search the GT forum over at K-Bikes.com. In particular, see the pics in this post by mohler in this thread. He started with a bought hitch for his Uni-Go, then made up his own version that was stiffer and stronger.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
