Question Corbin Smuggler

I'm interested in getting a Corbin Smuggler and can't seem to find if the smuggler will work with a seat other than Corbin. Does anyone have a Smuggler on their GT with a seat other than the Corbin?

Thanks,
Brian

Re: Corbin Smuggler

Comes as a set....front seat and rear smuggler. Smuggler can't be used with regular OEM front seat.

Good Choice. IMPO there are much better seats on the market than Corbin.

I agree, and I have the Corbin and Smuggler. It's great for back and forth to work but for any distance, my ass loves Russell.....wait....that didn't sound right.

Re: Corbin Smuggler

My seat is currently being reworked by Rick Mayer, this will be my third seat he has done for me. Even though I like the smuggler and had one on a previous bike, I definitely wouldn't give up a Rick Mayer seat just to have a "smuggler".

Brian
It would have to shortened as the smuggler takes up more room that just the pillion seat. In other words, if Rick had the smuggler on hand, he could adjust the rear profile of the driver seat to dove-tail with the smuggler. But if you removed the smuggler and installed the pillion seat, there would be a gap between the front of the pillion seat and the rear of the driver seat.
