Nice pics of the bike, but trees in that fourth picture are amazing.

They really are. That was on the Cherohala Skyway (HWY 165). The leaves along that highway were absolutely beautiful and almost near peak. The leaves on the Southwest Side of Franklin, NC were the same way. Most of the other places were not that far along. But it will be beautiful up there for the next two weeks. If you get a chance, you should go.

Cool Re: New BMW Mathematical Formula

Sorry Dick, but my vote is for the Cherohala Skyway. Beats 'The Gap' hands down ... in my humble opinion. Then again, the Pacific Coast Highway doesn't suck either.

Joe, I gotta agree with you. The Cherohala Skyway is the absolute best for views. However, the GAP is the best for twisties, especially during the week when there aren't many people there. I ran the entire GAP without having to slow down or stop for anyone!

I gotta agree about the West Coast Highway, too. I was there in August 2008, but on my LT. This picture was taken along the southern coast of Oregon. I hope I get a chance to take the GT back out there one day.

Hey Dick, I noticed that the fourth pics not only shows some pretty leaves, but it also shows that your moto lights are on while your headlamp is off. I am presuming you wired them so that they can stay on when the ignition is off. Be careful................

Re: New BMW Mathematical Formula

The fourth pic is an awesome site to see the trees change color but look again at the first pic. Look at that grin under the helmet!!!

They are wired to the bus wired to the Canbus. It takes about 60-90 seconds for them to go off, same for the Zumo.

I gotta try to stay away from the "Blue Light Specials", Joe. 900 miles and didn't meet one new LEO. However, I can't say that I absolutely obeyed the law. Hard to do with a GT!
