How to upset the power rangers ....

Off on a weekend away with she who must be obeyed. Stayed at

http://www.sychnant-pass-house.co.uk/

been there before and it's excellent, stayed in the room called Growl Tiger this time. Had our own private patio area with hot tub, it felt lovely and decadent sipping chilled champagne while sitting erm in the buff in the tub

Anyway, enroute to the hotel we came upon a Kawasaki ZX9r and a Yamaha R1. Matey on the Kawa was a bit worrying, one of those guys who would just slam on the brakes halfway around a corner for no apparent reason. So we despatched him as to be honest he was dangerous to be behind.

Overtook the R1 and its rider appeared to get very upset that a "mere" BMW tourer, 2 up with panniers and huge top box and overtaken him

On the next long straight I just knew he'd try all ways to get past so was waiting in 3rd as the 30 restricted zone ended. Wound it on and watched as he could only just keep up! Got to the wrong side of 130 when I had to back off for a car on my side and a large truck on the other. Except in his fervour to get past he squeezed through the gap between the two, clipping his (or the cars) mirrors in the process as glass shattered everywhere.

Jeepers those sports guys get hacked off when tourers give 'em a hard time

Having seen his desperation to get past I decided I didn't want to play with anyone who'd take that level of risk. I kept him in sight but didn't bother catching up.

Yep "Father Ted" is a very funny show!

The only thing better than seeing a sport biker's eyes get real big when you fill his mirrors is watching him get smaller in your mirrors. The GT makes it so easy it's almost cheating.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...

And the suspension in the corners is just amazing, with the power to back it up.
