Tire sizes?

Sorry for such a simple question.

I'm not able to look at my own bike right now and would like to search for new tires.

Front?
Rear?

I've been doing searches but those that I have read so far haven't noted the size.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: Tire sizes?

From the Michelin site MC tire section fit guide:

BMW K 1200 GT, 2003 - 2008
Original Equipment Sizes:
Front: 120/70 ZR 17 TL
Rear: 180/55 ZR 17 TL

Just a second validation.

Funny thing is when I went in to Cycle Gear to get a tire, hey it was sunday, they told be it was an 18 inch tire which sounded wrong, put that was printed on some guide I saw it myself....

Re: Tire sizes?

I'm here at work and I want to shop tires. is the 2000 LT the same size as the newer ones? My rear tire sounds like a 4X4 when cornering and like a racing slick in the center.
Thank you!

Dunno. We own GT's.

BTW, SW Moto is in a PR2 dry spot. It kind of bummed me till I figured out I was wanting to try the RoadSmarts, anyway.

Some people see the gas tank as half empty. Some see it as half full. All I care is that I know where the next tankful is coming from...
