Broken cowling ....

Washing the K just now and I've noticed the lower rear left bellypan mounting is broken away from its mounting point.

I must admit it's been one of those items I looked at before and thought that it looked very weak and not really up to the job. It looks like my gut feeling has panned out. I guess when I take it in for service I'll see if I can get a warranty claim out of it.

Anyone else here had similar probs with this mounting?

PS just taken some pics, and attached them, to send to the dealer in the hope of BMW replacing the belly pan as a warranty item ...
