P40 Warhawk applique

Well, they came yesterday. Do you think the postal guy could have drove them down the road and chunked them over the fence? Nope, I had to drive into town, go to the Post Office and pick them up.

I also had to wash the bike.

The dip in the panel made the install a leetle tough. Got a couple of small creases, some bubbles (a pin will take care of that). If I decide I like them enough to keep, I think I'll get another set and have them professionally installed.

It came with the eye, but the roundel worked so well that the eye looked out of place. I taped it in a multitude of positions and it just didn't look right. Look at the leading edge of the bottom panel as it wraps under the headlight, it looks like the nose and makes the roundel work.

Nice. '57 front end married to a '58 rear end in a two seater. When will you have one in your garage? That ought to be a chick magnet.
